Who am I?
Hello!
I’m Besfort, a Singing Teacher and Singing Voice Rehabilitation Coach.
I’ve worked with professional singers, actors and dancers for almost two decades. My clients can be seen in feature films, on TV, on UK and International Tours, in the West End, and on Broadway.
I am the Singing Voice Rehabilitation Coach at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London, where I work alongside a world-class team of clinicians, helping injured singers and those experiencing voice issues regain their capacities and return to work.
I specialise in helping singers to mend, develop and extend their voices through evidence-based functional training, with a current and clear understanding of the requirements and demands of working in today’s industry.
Having experienced the consequences of poor training at drama school, I found myself in need of relearning how to use my voice. This personal journey has ignited a deep passion to help others get it right.
I work alongside clients helping them to get more from their voices, prepare for upcoming work, and maintain their voices whilst on challenging contracts, all the while providing vocal health guidance and support.
Alongside my private practice, I teach on the BA Hons Musical Theatre Course at Arts Educational, where I am the Vocal Health Consultant and serve on the recall panel.
I am represented by Tom Ping and Euan Livingstone at Global Artists.
I am currently not taking new clients on.
